I have just bought the book at a sale at the Times book shop. It was a very enjoyable time reading it. Why I like it so much is because it has an attractive story and personally I like magic and adventure books.
Synopsis
Nora’s live changed when she received a small blue book sent to her by post. Since then, she seem to have created a bond between she and the book. At first when she accidentally left the book she just felt a slight nag. But soon, the nag turned into agonizing pain.
Then, Nora met a boy called Billy. Billy, who is a Gatemaker, can make windows and doors to connect to another world, called Sanasarea. One day, they saw a map through the window. The map was alive! At the same time, a girl spotted the creator of the map, Asa Trout, in an isolated part of island, looking wild and weak.
What is the mystery behind the map and why does Asa Trout disappears after he made the map? What exactly is the blue book and why is it sent to Nora? Find out more by clicking Find out more.

I have always been a Percy Jackson fan. And it is one of my all-times-favorite. The story is just so humorous and the idea is quite new. Mixing ancient Greek with modern lifestyle. Have fun reading!

Synopsis
This book is about Holly Cather, whose life turn down right wrong after the death of her parents and her best friend Tina in a rafting accident. She was the only survivor. When she was brought to her Aunt Marie-Claire’s home in Seattle, who was also her only relative, things start to get even weirder. Just like how the house smell of smoke, how her deft cat, Bast, seem able to hear her and the visions she’s getting. The magnetic attraction to a boy was also undeniable. All and all, she knew something she never knew before. Magic. Black magic.
